Description
Wasabi powder is mixed into the cream that is used in the Semi-Sweet 58% (dark) chocolate ganache center, dipped into milk chocolate and topped with crystallized ginger. The milk chocolate helps mellow the heat of the wasabi powder and the crystallized ginger balances the piece. The heat of the Wasabi powder just starts to climb and then it dissipates just as quickly and ends with a nice wasabi flavor with no heat finish.

The Wasabi Ginger squares were delicious, however the wasabi took a back seat. Not enough heat. Nevertheless, it’s tasty.
